Ed Mondello is the inventor of the Glide Bike and his passion lies in his personal experience with helping his own daughter learn to ride a bike. He was convinced that her difficulties in learning to ride was largely in part to the weight of the steel frame which kept her from having full control of the bike and the training wheels that were seemingly delaying the learning process since there was no balancing skill building. So he ventured out to create his own – and then there came the Glide Bikes Balance Bikes collection!
